Beginner Artist Painting with acrylics can be rewarding and great therapy for as well. Choose acrylic paints carefully for your craft projects. Sometimes buying the cheaper brand is not always the best for your paintings. You will have to experiment and purchase paints that are suitable for you. I prefer several brands like Folk Art and Cerme Coat brand. Apple Barrel is also a good brand for me but only in certain color. If I use a lot of one particular color I will purchase a large container in the 8 ounce knowing I will save money. I also watch for sales and always try to stock up whenever my brands are on sale. Buying craft brushes are also an art in itself. You will have to purchase brushes and test them for yourself. I like buying a package of various sizes from Michael’s craft store or other craft sections.

The size of the brush is determined by the width of the windows. In other words- it is a matter of choice which size brush you would like. Have a variety of sizes on hand
