The kittens in the basket are cut from 1/2&#8243; pine wood. A strip of paper with the word &#8220;free kittens&#8221; is glued on the front. Use Elmer&#8217;s glue for all gluing. Glue on the basket to the side of the mini. Use spray glue or Elmer&#8217;s watered down  glue &#8211; or decoupage glue. If using Elmer&#8217;s white glue, water it down  a little bit and brush on the solution on the gift wrap. Smooth out any air bubbles carefully. Once the image is glued on the wood, cut out the image. Paint the sides of the raw wood with acrylic paint, if desired. Coat the finished piece with a clear matte or gloss water-based varnish.
