The paper texture is the perfect consistency to glue and cut on wood. To make amazing magnets &#038; Christmas tree ornaments use 1/4&#8243; luan or birch wood. For standing decorations use a thickness of at least 1/2&#8243; . You can make a thicker base later and apply to the bottom of the piece to make it stand. DIRECTIONS: Select the image on the wrap you are going to use. Cut around the section of the image. Spray the back of the image with spray adhesive or a diluted solution of white glue. Next: place the glued side down on the wood and smooth out any bubbles. Cut out the image. Lightly sand any rough edges. Paint the face of the cut-out with a water base varnish such Folkart clear satin or gloss for proctection. Let dry. Optional last step: choose an acrylic paint color for the sides of the decoration. For a beautiful effect -choose a shimmering gold or silver acrylic paint. Purchase this paint from the craft paint section of Michaels or AC Moore. When you are finished painting the sides, you can also paint the face of the ornament with sparkle acrylic paints. For example: if there are candy canes in the image or stars in the sky, you can add touches with a small brush with sparkles here and there! Enjoy your new creation! </p>
