If you are fortunate enough to live by a wooded area you can make your own lighted holiday decoration. Easy to make and with simple supplies you can make one as small or as large as you like.
Materials needed are some string lights, twigs and these instructions that are available on Amazon. |

Make a wood vintage Christmas ornament.
Instructions:
1) Click on the vintage snowman image above and print to size you want to make for your ornament.
2) For best results print on genuine artist canvas. This can be found at the end of this post. It will stand up much better than printed on regular copy paper.
3) Next, spread a thin layer of white (Elmer's glue) on the back of the canvas print. Place the image glue down, on a 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4" piece of wood.
4) Cut around the outside of the snowman and insert a hole at the top and insert a wire hanger to display on the tree.

Sew with the Fredrix canvas pad sheets.

Instructions:
1) Print out the image on the canvas pad sheet. 2) Cut the ornament to size. 3) Cut a square of Christmas fabric for the back of the ornament. 4) Sew the canvas printed front to the cloth back leaving a small opening to put stuffing inside. 5) Lightly stuff the ornament with some fluff. 6) lastly, sew the hole closed. Add a hanger and bow.
