Wood Burned Necklace

Materials:
Wood blank rounds
Wood burning tool kit
 Directions:
1) Use a pencil handle type of wood burning tool that is ideal for burning an image in the surface of the wood. An example of that tool would be a specialized 25-watt iron.   Purchase a tool  that has a variety of interchangeable tips, such as calligraphy tip, dot tip, shading tip and a pattern transfer tip. 
2) After burning the outline, color your art with your favorite markers, watercolors or acrylic paint.
