Wood used is ; 1/2",3/4" OR 1/4" inch wood. 
Just click outline pattern to save onto your computer. For the tail, knot and glue on a piece of jute string. Elmer's glue is a good choice for this. Jute twine that is found in most any store dept. such as household supplies and craft stores. Most interesting about the jute -is you can easily dye it with Rit liquid or powder dye for interesting effects. For this project it's optional that you can leave the jute it's natural color.
