Artist Resource Vintage Post Cards

There are many cards where images of paintings, drawings, photos and cartoons capture the moment and are a goldmine for the artist looking for ideas. Flip through old story books and see how these past artists have been inspired by their endless designs and styles. In vintage postcards there are many color combinations and a variety of nostalgic themes. Some illustrations are simple and cute while other images are full of descriptive detail. See how postcards flow with a little story of its own is detailed no matter how simple it may appear. Use these images of different themes for a resource and experiment until your creative skills shine through.
