How to make a wood bunny for Easter:

Materials: 3/4" wood, 1/2" wood for carrots,wire for hanger, acrylic paints. Trace the bunny outline on the left onto a piece of 3/4" wood and cut out. Trace the carrots onto 1/2" wood and cut out. Drill small holes in hands for the wire & attach to hang.

Ways to transfer your painting outline onto wood: You can use graphite paper and place the graphite onto the wood and underneath the paper pattern. Trace over the lines on the printed pattern -making sure to press hard and onto the wood surface you will be cutting. another way to transfer a pattern onto the wood is to tape the paper pattern directly onto the piece of wood. Cut through the paper and wood together. You can also use a glue stick sparingly and spot glue the paper pattern onto the wood. One last approach to transferring a pattern onto wood is to directly INK with a rubber stamp onto the wood with your design. This is great if you are making small wood ornaments of making wood magnets.
