By S. Pimental This tutorial uses a simple editing program called Paint. You may already have this on your computer or you can download it free. You can substitute Paint.net and download, it is a more advanced program than the original Paint. Either program will work when water marking your art. Next, after loading the program, open the file you will be working with. Here you have your file uploaded into the Paint program Next, go back to home, Then select the text box and move your cursor over to where you want to place your text. Choose the font size - choose the Transparent box and the grey color as indicated. Lastly, type the words you want and position the text box where you feel the words would look best. Of course putting text over an image can be somewhat intrusive, but this lesson shows how to protect yourself and your art from potential thieves..
