Create Unique Mothers' Day gifts

 --   WE   LOVE  MOM   ~~~   WE  LOVE  GRANDMA  ---- Free Wood fridge magnet  pattern 

This is an easy to do wood craft project. Size of this magnet is approx. 2  3/4" w x 3 3/4" h x 1/4".
Materials you will need:
a small scrap of birch wood 1/4" thick
assorted colors of acrylic paints
artist brushes
transfer paper
sand paper 
a magnet to attach to the back

INSTRUCTIONS:
Click on the house outline below save to your computer and print. If the image prints too large then load the image into a photo editing program such as PAINT or similar.​ Size the image to your specifications then print. Tape or use a glue stick and place the pattern on a piece of birch wood. You can layer the wood and cut several houses out at once.​

With Mother's Day coming , the annual question has risen again: what should we get for Mom?
Try this easy decoupage wood project.
Supplies needed:
Thin birch wood or 1/2" pine plaque
Mod Podge
Brush
Jute string - or ribbon 

1)   Simply print out the label above.
2)  Use Mod Podge to glue onto a smooth flat wood surface (see pic above of the finished project).
3)  Let the image dry. About 2-3 hours. Then paint a coat Podge over the print.
3)  When completely dry,  attach a length of jute string to hang - by drilling 2 holes and tying each end with a knot.
