The cover series above demonstrates the use of the paint.net program (free to download).
This final cover will be used as a reference for a future Halloween witch painting. All the work is done as far as the proportions and pose along with the right colors. If you have no editing program, no problem. Place a piece of tracing or drawing paper over a copied image of a cover. Make your changes on the paper. You can also place a sheet of watercolor paper over the image cover on a light table. Lightly pencil your changes -if there are any.
